Friends are so important to us each day and during every event of our lives.  Especially friends who live in the Lord.  These special friends are so warm, kind, and full of mercy when we need it.  They show me the love our Lord Jesus just by being there.  

I have been blessed with many of these friends.  Some I call in the middle of the night and they are there for me.  Some let me know on FB that they are praying.  Some  invite me to meet with them for lunch and reminisce about our times together and what the Lord is doing now in each of our lives.  Many remind me that God is not through with me yet and I still “have miles to go before I sleep”.

Friends who will go shopping with me and enjoy it whether or not we purchase anything.  Friends who love the Lord and will share His Scripture with me when I am feeling low.  One particular friend who reminds me that I am always better off than I deserve!  And I think of where I would be without Jesus in my life and am moved to rejoice because HE IS HERE.
