Reading in Deuteronomy 31 today:  Be strong and courageous for you shall go with this people….The Lord is the one who goes ahead of you.  He will be with you.  He will not fail you or forsake you.  Do not fear or be dismayed.  God spoke this to Moses and Joshua then to the people 3 times in this chapter.  Even as He told Moses that he was to die and commissioned Joshua to lead the people into the promised land.  How can I not believe that He is with me every step of the way?  Our God is always with us.  Wherever I am, God is! What an amazing promise.  What an empowering truth.
