This has been a week!  Mother’s Day was hard w/o Frank.  It was wonderful to have son from out of town, Stephen and family here for Saturday night and Sunday morning. Later lunch with second son Andy and Kat. So enjoy having them near now.  Then got a text early Wednesday morning, Andy was in hospital with collitus == a high fever and red, warm, swollen leg.  So concern over his condition and praying God heal him quickly.  Today, he was able to go home.  Still some redness and warmth in his leg, but it has gone down quite a bit.  He should be all well soon.

In thinking about this, I kept saying: “Lord, I couldn’t take it if anything happened to any of my sons.”  Knowing God knows exactly what I can and can’t take with His strength.  So I know He doesn’t promise me that no one will ever be sick again or even die.  All times are in His very loving and compassionate hands.  We so limit God when we say we “can’t handle life’s challenges.”  When we have His promise to be with us always.  Where He is so is His strength and His peace.  What a wonderful God we serve!
