The picture at the top of my blog was taken by me at the Dan Nature Preserve in Israel.  This is one of the three headwaters or sources for the river Jordan north of the Sea of Galilee.  We went to all three, but this was the most beautiful.  Because Jesus is the “river of water” that satisfies the thirsty soul, I decided to use this for the blog picture.  Truly a beautiful sight in a country with much desert land. Actually due to irrigation the land in Israel is much more green than her neighbor Jordan.  So glad we were able to make this trip in 2007 together.

Realizing today that I need to follow through more often on my commitment to not watch so much TV–even though mostly I watch DVDs which we had purchased due to the horrid TV programs on today.  Need to read more and allow my thoughts to be molded by our Lord Jesus rather than even a little of the world.
