Changes

My elder son called last night to tell me his and his family are moving out of state.  He has accepted a job offer that is a promotion and so is moving.  And here I thought they were settled just 4 hours away by car.  I liked that idea even though these past few years we didn’t go to visit all that much since Frank just didn’t want to travel due to many different health problems.  We would see them for a while when one of their children was in town for sports events.  We always enjoyed those visits.  I’ll probably see them more now since plane tickets and/or driving a day’s journey isn’t that far.  Praying for them to have quick sale on their house and an easy move (as possible).  Moves are never easy.  Praying for them to find a great, loving, spirit-filled church home to worship and serve.  Thanking God that they all know Jesus and are growing in Him.  Praying God’s continued guidance and protection for them all.  Just feeling a little forsaken.

The good news is that Jesus never leaves.  He never moves away and when I do, all I have to do is call on His Name and He is right there with me.  I can know His presence and that he was there even when I wasn’t.  Great God and Savior! The lover of my soul.
