How can one woman be so blessed?  God has surrounded me with friends old and new who love me. (It never ceases to amaze me when people love me.)  God has given me a wonderful life–not always easy, but wonderful just the same.  He has been with me during some very trying times and heartbreaking events.  He has held me up, kept me from falling, drew me back into His arms when I was rebellious, loved me when I wasn’t lovable, and strengthened me when I was weak.  Reading this in the past tense, I feel I need to put it all in the present perfect tense because He keeps holding, keeping, drawing, loving, and strengthening me.  He is my ever present help in time of trouble and the complete joy of my life.  Daily He bears me up.  Daily He fills me with His Holy Spirit. Daily He gives me rest and peace.  Daily I pray for others to know Him like I do and for courage to share His singular love for each of them.

The amazing joy of knowing God through the Lord Jesus Christ fills my life with good everyday. Psalm 16 — God is my inheritance and my cup.  He has set my boundaries in pleasant places.
