I took this picture of the island of Patmos from the stairway leading down to the cave where John is thought to have written the Revelation during his exile there. We went into the cave for a few brief moments and coming back up the stairs was this window view. I am so glad that the Lord allowed me the privilege of going here. Frank and I had been to Ephesus before and now this completed the picture of places John had been. The island is beautiful and the town quaint and small. I am certainly glad that our Lord allowed John to be exiled here so that we would have the final chapter in His word assuring us of Christ’s total victory over the evil one. I am even more grateful for knowing that in Christ Jesus I can have total victory over the evil one in my life on a daily basis by trusting the Holy Spirit to fill me each day and represent Christ in me. What a joy! What a blessing! (Galatians 5:18-25)
