“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1
God has done so very much for me throughout my life that I must praise Him. None of it do I deserve. He has filled my life with good things and turned the trials and difficult times into His blessings for me. I believe we should praise Him continually. All we need to do to receive His blessing is seek to know Him better, love Him and obey His commands. We get to know Him through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and the Word He has given us. We can’t know God until we know His Son and repent of our sins and confess Jesus Christ has risen from the dead. We must allow Him to be our Lord and Savior.
Jesus has never turned His back on me. Even in the midst of my sins, He is there waiting for me to return to His arms and love. He has forgiven me all my sin and kept me for Himself. He has given me friends who pray for me, strengthen me with their prayers, and continued to love me as Jesus loves. I love the Lord with all my heart and soul, strength and mind. He has dealt bountifully with me.
It is amazing that the God Who created the universe and all it contains wants to have a close relationship with us. He did what we needed when He sent His Son, Jesus, to live as a man without sin, and allow Him to be nailed to a cross and die. Jesus willingly took our sin upon Himself, feeling the agony of separation from His Father, and finishing the work He was sent to accomplish so we could be saved from the judgment we deserve. Jesus walked out of that grave three days later a risen Savior and King. He is now at God’s right hand praying for us with open arms waiting for us to come to Him so that He can bless us forever.
For those who trust Him. the future is beautiful and the present is exciting!
