Again today, I had the privilege of reminding another of the great God of love. Eating with friends, I asked the waitress “Is there anything we can ask Jesus to do for you today?” She thought for a minute and then said, “Just ask for me to have a good day.” So when we prayed we did ask the Lord to bless her day in such a way that she would know it was from Jesus. Later, I had the opportunity to ask if she knew Jesus herself. She seemed a little embarrassed but answered, “Yes.” I told her allowing Him to be Lord in her life leads to the best life ever. I made sure to leave a good tip when we left.

I have learned to do this many times since I first saw a friend do this at lunch. I don’t know what has happened to the persons I have prayed for and left a card witness with, but God knows. He reminds me of different ones daily. I don’t remember all their names, but God does and I know when I pray He is working. What joy it is to tell others of His love and grace for them and to live in that love myself. Such an awesome God we have.

“Hitherto, you have asked nothing in my name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.” John 16:24
