2015–Reading Psalm 1 today I was reminded that God knows the way of the righteous.  He knows my way.  Not because I am righteous in myself, but because I trust in Christ’s sacrifice for me so I am covered by His righteousness.  What a joy to know that my sins are forgiven and God has cleansed me and set my feet on a level path.  Through the years He has proven Himself faithful to me in every way.  Guiding me, pulling me back when I stray, convicting me of my sin, convincing me of His love.  The loving-kindness of the Lord endures forever.

I have learned that in every situation God is enough!  There is nothing that He and I can’t handle together.  He fills my heart with peace and joy.  He is my good Shepherd.  He has prepared a place for me and will come again to receive me unto Himself and I shall live and praise Him forever.  I pray that everyone I know learns to live in these truths from His Word.  If so, each one will have a happy and fulfilling new year and life.
